Steven Creamer is a photographer and producer who specialises in bold, editorial portraiture, that allow artists, actors & public figures to express who they are and make a strong first impression with their audience.

Driven by searing curiosity and an unwavering belief in the power of photography, Steven’s diverse portfolio spans actors, artists, athletes and public figures from all walks of life. His work is recognisable for its use of a direct gaze and editorial styling and is defined by his ability to capture intimacy, identity and interiority. Rooted in his background in teaching, Steven is deeply committed to coaching and mentoring emerging talent within the industry, including delivering photography and filmmaking workshops at a number of prominent UK universities.

Steven currently splits his time between Cambridge and London, and is available for commissions nationwide.

  • Shoots take place in a variety of locations, be that a studio, a location of significance or a location that fits with the wider shoot concept.

  • A shoot concept refers to the broad look, feel and styling of a shoot and encompasses location, hair and make-up and wardrobe. The concept matters as it shapes the narrative and tone of the final images.

  • Concepts are created collaboratively and are based on the creative and commercial requirements and aspiration for the final images. Using the information provided during your discovery call, Steven and the creative team will put forward a creative vision (or concept) for the shoot and discuss the most effective way to elevate the final outcomes.

  • No prior photoshoot experience is required before a portrait session. Sessions include coaching and direction from Steven and his creative team to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved.

  • Hair, make-up and styling are not included as standard but can be included for an additional fee.

  • After the initial discovery call with Steven, a portrait session booking can be confirmed using the agreement form. A 25% deposit is required at the point of booking. Once the booking is confirmed, Steven and the creative team will start the process of creating the shoot concept. Once the concept is approved, Steven and the creative team will provide a call sheet detailing all of the essential information for the shoot.

  • The number of images/edits is not capped, nor are additional fees required for additional edits. Whilst it has become industry standard to cap the number of images received and to charge for additional edits, Steven’s commitment is to sharing all of the best images from the shoot, whether that be 20, 30 or 50+ edits.

  • Images are typically delivered within 10 working days unless a different deadline has been previously agreed.

  • Images are delivered via a secure online album that allows for high resolution copies to be downloaded.
